There is one in Alabama you can see from I10. Sits up on a hill. Can’t remember if it’s this one or one farther east like even east of B’ham.

Leeds, Pratville, Huntsville, and Spanish Fort are the 4 bass pro shops in Alabama. Huntsville was a cabelas and a store I helped open years ago.

You can’t run a bait-and-switch sale on Mann’s Jelly Worms and get away with it anymore.

Media 101: if there’s no mention of race in the article, the shooter is not white.
And it the shooter is not white, the story never gets mentioned again.

Yeah, this story is going down the memory hole really fast. Probably only local coverage (maybe) after a day or two.
BTW, was anyone wounded? What was the guy shooting at? The birds hanging from wires?

He was outside. Never went into the store, because the doors were locked (Not open yet) Tried to enter where the boats are located. If he'd have opened fire at the boats, he might have added a few years to his effort ....

This sounds like the one in Leeds.

The opening sentence of the linked news article reads:
UPDATE 11:50 AM 9/6/20: Spanish Fort Police Chief John Barber identified the suspect in the Bass Pro shooting as 38-year-old Robert Smith a black male from the Grove Hill area.
Apparently, they haven't adopted the 'new rules' of journalism in Alabama yet. The suspect was referred to as a black male instead of a Black male. Also, there seems to be a curious lack of the use of commas as well.

Helps if you hold the sights at a 12:00 position instead of a 9:00.

Good God you Bozos say you hate that race is brought into every situation and the first thing you mouthbreathers do is want to bring race up.

When it comes to violence you don’t want to put emphasis on race so you don’t upper case the b so people skimming the article are less likely to stop and focus on the upper case letter

He was trying to shoot his way into the store at the boat service center entry after an employee saw him and closed and locked the door.
I dont know if he didnt know about the stores main entry - it is a bit confusing if you had not been there before. Was confused myself and almost tried that entrance to the property and building. You get to that entry first.
He was trying a mass shooting (of white people) if you ask me. I noticed they let his wife go. Likely to investigate where she goes and who she consults. She was said to be supplying him ammo and assistance. Seems clear she is an accomplice.

There’s no way the suspect was black if he was taken in alive!
Talcum X is saying that the police always kill armed black suspects and give armed white suspects a hug and then take them to McDonanlds for a burger afterwards.
