Abolish Unions

As long as it’s the choice of the worker and is outside of government, I could care less about unions.

School choice is a must. Government sucks at education.

7. Return to the gold standard and abolish the Federal Reserve which has us barreling towards an economic disaster

The gold standard in todays world is idiotic.

There isn't enough gold in the entire world to even back the US economy much less the rest of the world.

The Total Value of ALL of the Worlds Gold is < 8 Trillion.

The US Stock Market is Worth 40+ Trillion.
The Land Value of the US is around 30 Trillion.

1 term for all elected positions, nationwide. 99% of problems solved
And thereby cede authority to the life-term bureaucrats and near-life-term permanent "staffers" who flow from one elected official to the next like water seeking equilibrium.

Yeah, that is a brilliant idea.

There may be some unintended consequences here.

If politicians know they only have one term and cannot be re-elected, what’s to stop them from selling out to as many different special interests as they can and make millions during their short time in office.

No worry of re election gives them no reason to not be corrupt.

Aren’t you concerned that we would run out of people that are actually interested in the job? It would get harder to find people interested in running for election.
Now Congress is different, term limits could work there!

Public Education is outdate. Should be online

What about families with 2 working parents? Or families with only one parent?

Are they to let their elementary school kids stay home alone and expect them to do online school?

Or are they just not supposed to work so their kids can stay home and go to online school?

I had a medical condition that necessitated surgery, which prevented me from conceiving.

So you didn’t “choose” to not have children.

Now that I’m old, I advocate for 2 years mandatory military service out of high school.

Legalization of MJ and Vicodin since I like those.

Extensive proof needed for a HC license plate and violators get prison time.

Left lane slowpokes get prison time.

Legalize assisted suicide

Sure it is, but our schools are awful and don't deserve the money.

You also can’t determine school access based on the highest bidder— that simply perpetuates the issue at hand.

Sure you can. Also, in a year or two there will be other good schools coming on line. There may be a bubble where things are bumpy, but once a supply and demand equilibrium is established this is the best way.

Education in the K-12 realm should be portable.

I’m not a huge fan of home school or online education. There is a social aspect to schools that developing humans are going to need. Kids need to be around other kids. Dooferent types of kids. Different backgrounds. Get to know people
