Ok. Well if you say so its gotta be true.

It is only going to get hotter as more parking lots, roads, cars and houses will be built for all the population growth due to illegal immigration. Their country have misused their resources so they are coming here.

Out of the last 35 years. Not even of all time. Or the last 50 years. Or since WWII. Just the last 35 years.

Instead if ridiculing the very valid point double made, how about telling us your solution? The U.S. and many other countries have done things to clean the air and our environment. Those pollution eliminating measures were easier and desperately needed due to the health hazards they cause. Actually controlling the temperature and atmospheric systems of the earth is a much much more difficult if not impossible. Just stop and honestly consider how arrogant it is to think we can control the earth's atmosphere.

Global warming "deniers" would probably get on board with your side if you presented an even remotely sensible energy alternative that was reasonably cheap. Your crowd doesn't do that though. You act as if there are zero negative consequences to shutting down entire industries that have powered the industrial revolution for several generations. If progressives were as worried about the planet as you guys claim to be you would empower the big oil companies to have control over the green technologies you say we need to save the planet. You guys don't want that because it would further strengthen industries that have traditionally supported Republicans. In other words, the solution to global warming isn't really a solution if it doesn't further the progressive cause.

LOL! Spidey's solution is to promote population growth via open borders and a welfare state. Human population growth is the single biggest environmental killer.

And how arrogant it is for us to believe that 15, 35. or 100 years ago our climate was "perfect" and needed to be kept the same even if we could do it.

A lot of us aren't 'deniers', GT. We are adamantly opposed to MARXISM. And make no mistake...it's the Authoritarian Socialists who have teamed up with the Greens. The Greens should have learned something observing Russia, China, Socialism et al; yet they point to Nations that have militarily SLACKED on the USA, and used that dividend to support - supposedly otherwise - Government welfare. That won't last much longer.

We have about a 20-30 year hurdle before some really high tech can solve a myriad of our basic human needs problems. It is both problematic, and somewhat shameful that the Capitalist/Materialist engine and it's expanding economy is needed to fuel the leap over that hurdle...but it's the hand we're dealt. All classes will reap great rewards IF we make that hurdle. Shutting down the economic engine in the name of Egalitarian/Social Justice 'wealth inequality' is not the ticket.

And that's what the Progs intend; and what many of the single-issue, Corporate hating Greens just refuse to admit, or bring to the table.

Ending the War on Fat

For decades, it has been the most vilified nutrient in the American diet. But new science reveals fat isn’t what’s hurting our health
We were only doing what we were told. In 1977, the year before I was born, a Senate committee led by George McGovern published its landmark “Dietary Goals for the United States,” urging Americans to eat less high-fat red meat, eggs and dairy and replace them with more calories from fruits, vegetables and especially carbohydrates.

By 1980 that wisdom was codified. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued its first dietary guidelines, and one of the primary directives was to avoid cholesterol and fat

Record ice is counting ALL THE SEAS IN TOTAL.

The records have only been kept a fraction of all history.

Any dumb azz trying to get an analytical conclusion from a minutia of information is stupid to start with.

The facts are one pole always has to be cooller than the other, they probably switch up every so many years.

You global weather alarmists warned of global cooling 45 years ago, then global warming 20 years ago, then when it was revealed there had not been significant warming in 17 years the addage became climate change LMAO.

THE CLIMATE CHANGES EVERY DAY.

It is hard to admit you have been duped,I understand.

Maybe we should all tap our ruby red shoes together and say, I want an ICE AGE, ICE AGE, ICE AGE and the weather will get cold.

No one is seeking to "control" the Earth's temperature - the goal is to eliminate man's effect on the temperature, not to "control" it.

Though if we keep going the direction we are - we'll probably have to look at ways to control it. Cooling the Earth is hardly "impossible" - we'd just have to kick up enough dust into the air. Unfortunately that blocks out light and will cause crop failures - so there is a price to be paid for the 'easy' fix.

No, they wouldn't. That's part of what being a denialist is. Any evidence against their view is just evidence of a conspiracy.

So essentially - what you're saying - is that the science that says AGW is happening is wrong because no one has presented a good solution to the problem?

mkay

You act as if there are zero negative consequences to shutting down entire industries that have powered the industrial revolution for several generations.

You act as if the only physically possible means of producing energy is by putting CO2 into the air.

Really? So basically your solution is to let the oil companies run everything?

Which one do you work for?

Ok Spidey, lets pretend you're correct and temps have risen in the last 35 years. Would you not agree that more has been done to combat global warming/climate change in the last 35 years than in the previous million? Every car/appliance/light bulb/etc that has been developed has been designed to combat climate change, and according to you things are just getting worse. The US has done more than 90 % of other nations to fight climate change also, so what would your next step be since throwing money at alternate fuel sources just isn't technologically practical yet??
