This whole drama has oddly created unity. I’ve had some good discussion about politics with people to the left of me today, that for the first time in forever didn’t devolve into some form of “frick you you capitalist”
I had a few really dig their heels in that everyone at the Capitol is a terrorist, so it did nothing to stop the dislike of MAGA steadfast Trump supporters, but it’s still interesting to see any kind of willingness to listen to an opposing viewpoint at all these days.

that WSB manifesto on the money board is legitimate. millenials faced the 2008 crash and had their lives permanently impacted by it. now we are facing the covid crash as we were trying to finally start real productive years of our careers. plus the genz is getting fricked by the covid crash

you are wrong. Simply posting on reddit that a stock is shorted over 100% and posting that you like the stock is not illegal. Almost all of WSB is perfectly safe from prosocution under the letter of the law. Some on twitter, maybe not. But in the end its all about "did they make false statements to induce others to buy" everything else falls under freedom of speech.
As you pointed out though, that shite doesnt matter. In the end they can charge you with whatever adn you have to defend it and it cost a fortune and it will bankrupt you. In the end that is all that matters as you cant defend yourself as they will freeze any and all funds and you will lose which is complete BS.
This should be a wake up call for the PT, this is not conservative vs liberal or republican vs democrat or trump vs whomever.....this is simply about the elites vs the everyday guy. The guy working in the plants, the oil rig guy, the local small time lawyers hell even local politicians of any city in Louisiana not named New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
They control everything so long as we have a centralized system and use a governement issued fiat currency. frick that.
time for decentralization and a currency not controlled by any governement so it cant be manipulated by them.
WSB is the best thing to happen for me as a believer in the DEFI movement.

yeah i got into this angle a lot more yesterday
legality is ultimately decided by juries, so it's impossible to say any individual act is automatically illegal. however, i wouldn't want to be taking that kind of risk

I’m hearing that all trading in the US has been blocked on several of these stocks including GameStop, with calls going out to overseas in order to continue buying.
