i have a funny story about that... we have some good friends that live in our neighborhood. husband is private pilot and lives baller status. comes from a great family. wife is a pediatric surgeon but her family is filled with WT, divorce, affairs, drama, you name it. they as a family are great, but keep their safe distance from her family. we're friends from church and they have kids around our age.

last fall, she takes in her niece and makes her sister sign custody away until she completes rehab (it's a year later and she's never started rehab.) kind, pretty young lady, same age as my son.

our friend is telling us she hasn't been in school for years, is a lesbian, and has no shot record or copy of birth certificate. Obviously not coming from a good situation.

it takes a bit to adjust, but a few weeks later we have them over for dinner and she meets my son.

now my son can be a little shite of a 15 year old, but he's a good kid, treats people well, and loves Jesus. they hang out and have a good time.

our friend calls us the next day laughing to tell her that hanging out with our son has magically turned her niece from lesbian to straight overnight.

no. she just had a mom enabling her desired behavior from her daughter at the age of 14 telling her to do something so she could feel special. she gets out of that enablement for a few weeks and meets a nice guy and it points her hormones in the right direction.

not a chance those statistics are accurate. Gen Z is between the ages of 9-24 for an average age of 16.5. There are roughly 68 million Americans in this age group. So, statistically 30 percent of this age group is 14 or younger so my question is who is polling kids 14 or younger and asking them if they are LGBTQ? I have 3 children that fall into this generation and I'm surrounded by a bunch of kids within this generation and this article is absolute bullshite.

I have an unpopular theory. Maybe homosexuality is kind of like a shut-off switch. The more overpopulated we get, the higher the rate. Social media is amplifying this sense of overpopulation, so it’s happening faster than it would otherwise.

There is a significant percentage of the population that, whether it is genetic or learned behavior, have a set sexual preference for members of the same sex over which they have no control.

For way way way way more people, it is a fashion statement these days.

I would imagine that older gays who had to face tremendous discrimination and backlash due to whom they were attracted to are both proud that we have progressed to the point that the stigmas attached to homosexuality have been eliminated such that folks feel confident being open about it, while also being disgusted that people are so comfortable doing so that they make it into a virtue signal or a fashion choice.

I imagine actually gay men and women feel somewhat similar about these young kids clothing themselves in gayness for a while before returning to heterosexual lifestyles when it suits them as do women athletes about men who claim to be transgendered in order to dominate competitions against women.

This isn't true in many ways.

First off, I do not believe that 30% or 40% percent of people would identify as both LGBT and Christian.

Secondly, the two groups are in direct opposition to each other. Christians must repent of sin and be born again of the Spirit of God. Openly identifying with sin excludes one from being a Christian.
