The American economy is super weird right now.

Pretty much anyone who wants a job can have one. The economy is so hot that prices are surging faster than at any point since the 1980s. The housing market is on fire. Consumers are spending like crazy.
Yet we keep hearing the word "recession" like it's 2007 all over again. What gives?
The truth is that we're probably not in recession now (although it's possible), but there are plenty of signs that one is around the corner.

CNN is in full spin mode. They make some decent point's in that article, but they failed to mention the Top 4 reason's why the economy is crumbling.

Reason #1:

Reason #2:

Reason #3:

Reason #4:

The fact that those 4 are in charge is the reason why the economy is crumbling.

It is very hard to say right now if the economy is great right now or bad.

Great (for now) if I want to sell my house, bad if I want to buy.

Great (for now) if I want to get a job, bad if I am an employer.

Great in some states, not so much in others.

We have amazingly low unemployment, but that is causing inflation, but you if your spouse sits at home, even a basic weekend job selling retail can increase your income a lot.

It's really nutty right now.

It's not the purchase side money we printed with limited supply?

Who are the people selling houses who are not buying? Dead people. Who else?

My $.02 is the supply chain bottleneck caused by the dipshit empty suit “president” is one of the biggest causes for inflation.

Fertilizer and fuel costs among other things are largely driving up grocery cost.

Terrible fuel regulations and decisions are hitting peoples pocketbooks deeply.

High cost construction materials are driving up the cost to build anything.

Microchip shortages are inflating vehicle prices.

Foreign dependence on all of these things make us other countries’ bitches.

All of this is controlled by the idiot in the White House who is colluding with foreign countries who are our enemies. And it’s all by design.

What's the correlation to labor participation rate?

When you understand this, you'll understand why the unemployment rate is a garbage measure for economic health.

We're in recession, headed for a depression ...

Eurotrash is a spinster for globalists. Ignore it and its opinions. Dems are running this country into the ground and no Rs are fighting it.

I’ve seen more people homesteading lately. I doubt it’s a large segment of society, but I haven’t ever seen the amount of people doing this before. So I think some are selling and sharing property with family. Even if they’re building on the same lot.

People are definitely selling and buying. And really
There isn’t an ideal time to sell and buy. When prices are high, you get more for selling but it’s over spend on the next home. Opposite situation when prices are low. I can’t imagine coming out of college or getting married right now trying to afford your first house. $250k for a starter Home is a ripoff. I paid a little less than $95k for my first home with my wife in 2008. Glad I got in then.

The LFPR is at one of its lowest points during a supposed economic recovery in US history. There’s still an estimated 6 million able bodied Americans not working.

Yep. The unemployment rate theoretically could go to 0 (everyone opts out or is dead) and Washington would cheer it as the lowest unemployment rate ever.

One of the greatest agitprop campaigns ever thrust on the American people as an economic measure.

It's absolute garbage as an economic indicator, if taken alone.

Inflation is a regressive tax that doesn't need legislated. It's great for the oligarchy.

We just had a quarter of negative economic growth and consumers are tightening their belts. We’re in a recession.

Admit that you voted for a disaster in Biden and stop living in an alternate reality.
