Does everyone here agree that the disappearance of her social media before her name was announced raises more questions than leaving it there would have?
It certainly indicates that they knew it wouldn’t look good for it to be a Biden aide lesbian chick piloting the helicopter. It also at least partially indicates she was actually flying the thing.
If she was just a passenger, it wouldn’t make any difference what her affiliation and sexual preference was.

They don’t believe DEI has nothing to do with it - highly qualified
Which is the problem. DEI makes people question every woman/minority hired.
If this was a pure meritocracy, when anyone person you saw in a position you could trust that they're qualified. Now that there are quotas, people will ask "Did they earn it, or were they put in there to fill "diversity" quotas?

I have read enough to know she checks a lot of box - you on the other hand are going to defend her until hell freezes over - no surprise - soy boy

Its pretty clear she was a lesbian Biden loyalist.
The questions remain: Was she given this position over more qualified folks? Regardless of her personal "qualifications".
Was she attached to some adaptation of standards or otherwise part of a program aimed at promoting more LGBT/female pilots?
Was she, like many in the LGBT community, suffering from anxiety, depression, etc.?
Why scrub her socials? Why was Trump so pissed after being briefed? Why didnt the media leak her name earlier to make Trump look like a callous a-hole?

I also wonder if she spent more time White House Social Aiding than she did with her unit?
Did she leave duties as a Social Aide then President Trump returned to office?
Think about making the check flight. She'd been with the 12th for a couple of years, was this the first time she was making this flight at night?

That's....kind of the fricking point.
It’s not for women either. Why did you act so offended?

I been saying it - people who are qualified and are anything but white man should be against it more than anyone.

Do you know that she wasn't a DEI hire?

HMX-1 is correct.
I don't know the aircraft he managed VH-3D or VH-60N?
I still think her career path, as well as that of those superior officers who gave her orders, deserve scrutiny.
I don't know about today's Army, and how fast promotions come at this time maybe justified, maybe not.
We will see...

Of all the Combat Pilots in the Army why they have a young Captain with minimal flight time on such an important post is mind boggling?
Just a point of clarification for you and anyone interested.
The CPT was logging PIC time because the CW2 was logging IP (Instructor Pilot) time. That's the way the Army logs flight time.
Because the IP was conducting a "check ride" he was overall responsible for the safety of the aircraft.
When the Army Accident Review Board conducts their investigation I believe they will find that the CW2 was at fault for mid-air (see & avoid).

She "checks" your boxes because you're a moron.

So military guy said she rose to captain faster than he has seen and the average age of Blackhawk pilot is 41. Idk enough about it, but I have seen more than him say stuff, especially about flight hours not being much in 5 years. Also they said awards were standard awards anybody basically gets in the military - nothing special.

Simple question that may have be answered: was this her first flight, at the controls, on this route at night?
If it was, why would you have your first flight along this corridor at night?
If it was, why would you have your first flight along this corridor at night?

And the ATC investigation will find some fault with the tower.
There were many likely simultaneous failures in this crash.

If she was commissioned in 2018, she should have a year or two in grade as a Captain.
Average age of a Blackhawk Pilot is misleading. What's the average age of a commissioned pilot, vice that of a warrant officer pilot? When you throw in the ages of the National Guard warrant officer pilots, the average goes way up.
