Flynn update - Interview 302 from FBI Agent William Barnett

"BARNETT believed the prosecution of FLYNN by SCO (Team Mueller) was used as a means to 'get Trump'"

Techno Fog
@Techno_Fog
Agent Barnett was assigned to Crossfire Razor (the Flynn counter-intel investigation).

Barnett was later assigned to the Special Counsel team.

Barnett: the predication for the Flynn investigation was "not great"

Public hangings on the Capitol steps are necessary for this.

Is it the original 302 that was “lost” or is it the 302 Lisa & Peter created?

more damning stuff disclosed by this fbi special agent during the interview

quote:

Crossfire Hurricane source (likely Halper) accused Flynn of leaving a 2014 event with an undisclosed person.

Perhaps @RealSLokhova

FBI assessed this information to be not accurate

quote:

The Flynn (Razor) investigation lingered - leadership didn't ask Barnett to do much on it.

FBI agent Barnett didn't see the point of the Flynn investigation.

Another agent thought it was "an exercise in futility"

quote:

As the Flynn investigation wound down, Agent Barnett suggested interviewing Flynn and closing the case.

The request for the interview was denied.

"there was nothing left to do in the case"

quote:

Late December 2016 - Strzok orders the Flynn case closed

1/4/2017 - Strzok tells Barnett to keep the Flynn case open

The Flynn case wasn't kept open for the broader Russia investigation - it was due to a Logan Act violation that Barnett thought was questionable.

quote:

Agent Barnett: the Flynn case "was 'top down,' meaning direction concerning the investigation was coming from senior officials.

The intensity of the FBI leadership Flynn investigation was spurred by the leak of the Flynn/Kislyak call.

quote:

FBI Agent Barnett had been on the Flynn case since the beginning.

He was not notified of the FBI's 1/24/17 interview of Flynn.

Barnett believes he was "cut out" of the interview.

quote:

How abusive was the Flynn investigation?

It was so bad that Agent Barnett told his boss he wanted off the cases.

Why?

"Barnett believed the [Flynn] investigation was problematic and could result in an IG investigation"

quote:

Wow -

Kevin Clinesmith (charged for falsifying docs) was involved in the Flynn National Security Letters (NSL).

This curious quote:

"Barnett thought at the time the NSLs were legally justified"

quote:

Barnett briefed Special Counsel Rhee on the Flynn case.

He told Rhee there was "no evidence of a crime."

Barnett believed Rhee "had an agenda" and told her they wouldn't be working together.

quote:

A dig at Andrew Weissmann:

Weissmann was convinced there was "proof of collusion, quid pro quo" from a meeting on a yacht near Greece.

Within a day or two the information was not substantiated.

The Democrats, acting in concert with agents of the intelligence community, attempted to overthrow a duly elected government of the United States.

This is treason and those involved should be executed.

That tells me the investigation won’t be over by the election like some hope. Maybe I’m wrong?

Explain it to me like I'm a person who doesn't understand, because I don't.

This interview is really recent, so the end is nowhere in sight?

This right here is why Biden is the nominee. The Logan Act predicate was his idea. Good lord.

NSL pulled back because it would show the LACK of evidence, or exculpatory evidence, which would have to be disclosed to the defense/accused/victim.

OK- timeline clarification: the handwritten notes from the 1/5/2017 WH meeting indicate that Biden raised the idea of Logan Act as predicate for Flynn interview. The Barnett 302 indicates that Strzok had discussed w Barnett the LA violations the day before. I seem to recall there were texts between Strzok and Page re LA as predicate w Page gushing over Pete's creativity in coming up with LA as predicate.

So who came up with LA predicate and when? Suggests that Biden was briefed prior to 1/5/17 meeting.

Gonna LMAO if even though there's never been a successful prosecution of the Logan Act in 200 years, the totality of the Hussein criminal regime are found guilty of Logan and more.

Ad bad as I hate to say this, nothing will happen until the average American has this explained to them.

Problem with that is, the media won't even acknowledge it, much less explain it.

To this day, I'd bet 90% of Americans couldn't explain what happened during Watergate.

If Biden wasn’t briefed on this particular case before that date, the argument has been put forth that Biden had been warned about his planned actions to run opposition to Trump possibly afoul of the Logan Act.

I don't care if the entire investigation is over by the election as long as SOME get appropriately arrested and charged by then so it can't realistically go away if Trump loses.

but but Flynn still lied how does this change any of that?

That was said by the same a-hole who hyped every single shred of this fake shite with no evidence whatsoever

We have our own little microcosm of insanity right here among us.
