Now this is a scary statistic

I used to live in taiwan (amazing place with even more amazing people).

One thing I learned is their dependency on their phone. We in america have credit cards and fridges. They don't have that. It's either paying with large amounts of cash (men carry purses) or all done digitally with their phones.

You cant just cut off your phone plan. Itd be like cutting off your ability to pay for food/rent/gas etc.

It's because of this experience that I think there may be more to this than simply "they couldnt afford their phones"

I could be wrong but one thing I'm sure of is all of you should spend a night at sun moon lake.

Maybe they shut them off to prevent information getting out? Seems like 21M deaths is a bit much even for China to lie about.
