True
And look at the margin of victory for Letlow! She barely won against a very weak democrat candidate

The irony of this election is thick
Trump endorses candidates to run against candidates that he feels betrayed him.
Cornyn for example. Trump just didn’t like him so he endorsed paxton. Classic petty political move.
Then when voters feel betrayed by Trump, they’re expected to just do as they’re told and vote the way Trump says to vote.
Anyone else see the irony here?

I see Mississippi is razor thin with 4% left to count/submit. Do we know what part of Mississippi those 4% of votes are going to come from?

I am very upset with last night's results. These people who have infiltrated the great state of Texas don't fricking belong here. They moved here with the intent to flip this state. frick them. I hate them and I will make sure they know it just by the look on my face when I mean mug them in public.
I hate those fricking people.

People upset with the Texas result and blaming liberals for moving there are missing the big picture. Look at how almost every part of TX shifted left. I doubt Californians are moving to the panhandle. This was something different. Texas shift from 2024

DAMN
All the signs were there and I thought it would be a pretty good night - I actually undershot by a lot. It was an all timer

Alaksa turned blue again, and Mississippi has a lot of outstanding votes that will favor Colom. Should end up 56 seats for Dems. Thats wild.

On the subject of candidates matter,
How different do people think the Texas results would be if Jasmine Crockett was the nominee over Talarico?
I can’t decide if this wave was coming no matter what or if Talarico and Hinojosa as normal sounding standard bearers pushing the wave over the top.

Seeing the national environment, it feels like the die was cast for this race the moment we dropped bombs on Iran and gas prices shot up
I don’t think a good candidate would’ve done anything but lessen the margins a tad

You can talk about gas prices, or Iran, or Trump's personality until the cows come home, this still seems ... odd, to say the least.

Yea I’m firmly in the camp candidates matter, campaigns matter, debates matter . . . but clearly a national zeitgeist can occasionally take hold and I think that is what happened here.
I think Graham platner may have ultimately won if he just refused to step down.
