without being flippant, you really are comparing apples to bird eggs here. We do not protect those things because they have rights. We protect them, because they are extraordinarily rare, and we do not want their species to disappear from the Earth.
We have laws for those species because everyone understands that a bald eagle egg is going to hatch into a baby bald eagle. Just as a human embryo is going to result in the birth of a baby human being.
quote:
I do not share that viewpoint. Humans are just another species of ape. There's nothing particularly special about us, other than sapience.
If human life is not inherently valuable, then the entirety of our legal system has no foundation. Religiously or by any other measure, I do not see how someone cannot view human life as inherently valuable. And if it is, it deserves legal protection at the point of creation (i.e. conception).

I have some idea. I feel confident saying your response isn't proportional to actually believing babies are being murdered.

Human life is human life, but it wasn’t the “zygote” that we were discussing, but the child after birth in an abortion less world.
Were discussing abortion, which includes zygotes.

Just kill ‘em instead, right?

Abotion … Nazis want to … create a utopian society with fewer minorities.

Which minorities? A little unfair to count the ones streaming in over the border, I would think.

What I said isn't up for debate.

Oh look. This moronic argument again. No, I don't seek out every murderer in the world and try to stop them that doesn't mean I agree with murder.

The slavery justification. Democrats are so predictable.

SPECTACULAR!!
Thank you, brutha, for this beautiful uplifting share and for the photos. Much appreciated. We desperately need peeps like you on the ground. This is one of the Great Crusades of our time! Your support for LIVES of The Innocent is crucial!
God bless you and yours -- along with everyone else there in DC. You're the salt of the earth.
Happy Anniversary!

"It was so cool seeing all the banners and stuff up at the front, I told my wife, 'Wow, this is so exciting, I bet this is how it felt to march in the Crusades.' And a couple of old ladies in front of me looked back laughing their asses off. There were huge numbers of kids and families and I would guess over half the total participants were high school and college aged kids, which is great to see...
....The rally really felt like a big party and celebration of life. Some people were chanting in megaphones, a lot of people were just talking and taking pictures like me. It was just a really fun and joyous atmosphere."

We went over to Union Station (which is really pretty, by the way) and jumped on the metro to head over to Georgetown and finished the evening off walking along the river and eating at a very nice (and crazy expensive) Italian place for our 9th anniversary.
Happy Anniversary!

Amen, Brutha.
Dismiss the Evo-Lunatics. They are (literally) blinded to God's Truth.

Therefore, my pro-choice friends, there is no harm, if, by chance, all of the planted seeds that eventually produce crops that sustain civilization suddenly disappear.
They’re just seeds.
They’re just seeds.

We have laws at all levels of government that criminalize bird eggs from being destroyed, the disruption of sea turtle egg laying cycles, and on and on... yet a potential child is not protected until birth, in many jurisdictions.
BRAVO! Nice reality Howitzer!
Your citation of the insane wildlife laws and analogy completely demolishes any so-called "intellectual honesty" claim by any and every pro-HUMAN Abortion advocate (while also exposing these frauds as nothing but dangerous moral relativists.)
To the deranged pro-Evolution Mob, ALL "Life" is equal. For them this necessarily means, "Human" Embryo/pre-born baby is actually no more important -- perhaps even LESS important than a Sea Turtle / Bird Enbryo/Egg.

Good point. It also reinforces the rank hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty of these disingenuous ghouls....
Which also leads to yet another "seed" tangent".
The Elites famously store their seeds (The Mothers of All Heirloom) in guarded vaults.
Meanwhile, they (and Monsanto) are monopolizing, vandalizing and GMO'ing OUR the Heirloom Seed supply as quickly as possible so the "Useless Eaters" won't so easily be able to harvest productive seeds as Nature/God intended.

That's what Democrats said about black slaves. Funny how you reuse the same narrative to fit whatever horrible things you do.

You could never do that. But, it isn't like there are established murder buildings with addresses you can just Google. Right?

You're an intelligent man. Look at black American birth rates. If you can convince me that abortion doesn't disproportionately affect black children to almost the point of genocide, I'll consider changing my position on murdering the unborn. Like I said, this is the only minority demographic that has not increased despite immigration.
