It's extremely early but Rispone was only getting around 10% of the absentee vote in the Monroe area. The polls that showed him beating Abraham had him closer to twenty percent. Abraham is also doing better than a republican traditional does in the rural parishes (not surprising since he is from there. Do not know how much that will matter because the population is not that high, but that is another variable that was not accounted for in the modeling of the polls.
