Repubs: no one candidate can get a majority of the delegates, so the Convention nominates Romney as a compromise. Romney-Rubio

Dems nominate HRC easily and she runs with Julian Castro. Clinton-Castro

Dems carry every state Obama carried in 2012 PLUS North Carolina and Indiana. Dems regain Senate 52-48. Repubs hold the House easily.

My prediction is that come Wednesday morning after the first Tuesday of November next year, this board and myself will want to see northern Virginia fire bombed and leveled back to Stone Age

Bobby Kennedy apparently had Birmingham and Montgomery added to a map of probable primary targets for a soviet nuclear strike in jest/hope that they would actually be hit.

He lived in Northern Virginia for a time, so I guess one good turn...

what a great patriot you are.

I bet you claim to pray for people's family on the O-T when someone gets a "death is coming" diagnosis.

I know you have at least one alter floating around. Just can't figure out which one is you.

Someone should start a new one of these for the general. Be a great way to start the final push.

You might want to loosen that up.

This thread is gold. My favorite:

God, that would have even been funny 2 years ago.

I'm sorry I didn't catch this thread when it was posted, but I definitely would have picked Clinton on the D side and either Christie or Rubio on the R side. After Trump was confirmed, I predicted a popular vote landslide for Clinton, though not as bad in the EC as Reagan/Mondale. I still predict this, at about a 10% margin. Reagan won by 18%. I don't think that will ever happen again.

When all democrats and a very large chunk of republicans hate you, you pretty much have no chance.

I disagree. All of the dems are still voting for Hillary, as are many republicans, including a former president.

Absolutely no dem is voting for Trump.

It will be 320+ to 210ish

Okay. Maybe not "absolutely none," but it's nowhere near the number of Trump hating Republicans.

And it really goes beyond that. For a lot of people, they just don't want to be on record as having voted for a reality show clown, casino and titty bar owner whose wife's tits can readily be found on the internet. It's self-deprecating, insulting and in the eyes of many, a really grim sign that people have become utterly media-driven imbeciles in a scope never before seen.

I'm one of those people, and because Trump will almost certainly win LA, I don't have to vote for him. I'm certainly not voting for Hillary, so I have the luxury of voting for Johnson, though he kind of lost me with the carbon taxes, free college educations and lack of international knowledge.
