Show me the case with merit they were able to get movement on then.

Only anecdotal.
I looked at a bunch of townships on the Northshore and found that some of them had >100% of eligible voter (which is different than registered voters, obviously) turnout.
Looking at the data 3 years later, those townships had their census numbers increased for 2020.

Are you claiming that Covid rulings and procedures made it easier to vote which was the direct cause of the vast increase in voter participations?
If so, do you expect a drastic decrease in voter participation for this election given the end of many of the Covid voting concessions?

Is this a good time to remind folks that no "swing" states' legislatures changed voting laws in 2020 to facilitate mass mail-in voting?
All changes were unilaterally-implemented by states' Attorneys General or illegal consent decrees were enacted with no legal backing by signed legislation.

You don’t know what my perspective is.
Only an idiot would assert that the entire voting process, from registration to ballot distribution to ballot casting to ballot collection to vote tabulation, wasn’t corrupted in specific ways in multiple swing states.
If you wanted to claim that Trump’s campaign engaged in that as well (which I think a statistical case can be made for), I would listen to it. The increase in total number of ballots cast is unbelievable, even with the relaxed voting standards.
