I’m sure some elements of the regime were. I also think it’s highly likely that hardline IRGC commanders have at times launched missiles without orders from the regime.

They probably didn't want the war in the first place

But they definitely aren't "begging for a deal" and never were

They probably want some sort of deal, just not a one sided one that cripples their ability to defend themselves against unprovoked attacks.

An end to the conflict.

I full think they are begging for a deal. But, not the IRGC part of "they"

Need to kill off the IRGC.

No. How would you ever possibly come to such a stupid conclusion? Your critical reasoning skills are pretty bad.

Then why won't TACO finish it.

Why?

Do you not understand the circumstances at play there.

They have MAJOR issues on their own accord.

Water is VERY scarce, their capital city sits in the rain shadow of a fairly large mountain range, there is an incredibly dry desert to the south of Tehran, and another to the SE, they have very limited access to the Caspian, they have multiple ethnic groups that have been oppressed via intimidation and violence, the power grids runs on gas (which was severely bombed) and now resupplying the coastline of the Persian Gulf has become incredibly difficult.

Let me guess, you want boots on the ground. Why?

Iran is swirling down the drain.

200-300 active military members die each year in accidents. While tragic, we've lost 16 in this military action against Iran?????

There’s a reason we rushed massive amounts of air defenses into the region before we started the war.

Because we knew we would spend lots of money to accomplish nothing?

The bad intelligence r was the assessment that the people would rise up against the regime.

So like I said—predictably and obviously wrong intelligence. People with zero knowledge knew it was stupid.

What sucks is that it wasn’t obvious to all of you. It was obvious to me and plenty others. Success was never in the cards with this stupid shite.

That’s not what you said. You said the intelligence was wrong about Iran’s military capabilities, specifically its ability to attack US bases. That intelligence wasn’t wrong at all. We’ve actually done an amazing job of defending against their attacks.

That’s an opinion. The war isn’t over yet. Success is still very much in the cards.

I’m sure the families of the soldiers killed by Iranian missiles for no reason are consoled.

Grow up. It’s a tragedy for those families but this is a war. More Americans will die before it’s over.

US control of the strait of Hormuz and and end to the Iranian support of its proxies in the region. Regime change would be better but I don’t think we’ll get that.

fricking nuke Tehran.

We’re content with dragging this out, losing soldiers, playing tit for tat while wrecking the oil market instead of finishing the IRGC.
