They'd be ashamed what's happened. The people who went through the Depression knew about good old days despite what they went through because they didn't lock their doors, you could trust your neighbor, they had their own culture and pride in their people and community, a common strong faith and morality pervaded. We could never do what they did, band together to survive it so well. It will be so much more chaos part 2. They were definitely happier than us now, and they'd be ashamed where we are. They wouldn't trade, they wouldn't be excited by the modern techno dystopia, they'd want to go back.

Amen brother.

My brother moved to rural France and married a very traditional Catholic girl.

I don’t think anything has happened in his small town in 200 years. The outside world is very far away. He’s happy.

Me, I don’t know what I’ll do, but I don’t think I’ll be buried here.

What? Lizzo, Cardi B. and Megan, The Stallion appeal to the masses.

This clog dance, and folk music and dance in general, are far removed and in fact alien to today's cultural milieu.

And calling a person from the boomer generation a boomer isn't discrimination.

You’re only off by two generations. Good job.

Eh, culture changes and the past generations think theirs is always better.

I still say growing up in the 90s was the peak time to be a kid/teen.

However, it doesn’t take much to see that the current rap/slut culture is garbage.

When black ppl complain about cultural appropriation, I don’t understand why they’re so mad. It’s def making white ppl look even dumber and I would say that’s pretty difficult to do.

Having some old toothless redneck play the same 7 notes on a fiddle for 10 minutes while a bunch of uneducated minions bang their feet on the ground is probably as close to hell as humans can get.

THAT'S THE SPIRIT!

I don’t want to “clog dance” but I definitely don’t want to see fat ugly women twirkin. People have lost all self respect for themselves. I don’t know any of people you listed btw.

Or, every generation is correct because culture has been devolving for a long time

True - it seems that each try and remove some piece of the moral fabric until there is none left and what you end up with are public officials tweaking on their heads

Brazen harlotry taught to the girls and Manifest Effemination of the Young Men, I'll tell you what -- dancing and hollering, making that Demonic Racket that's designed to summon Beelzebub, no doubt about it, I'll tell you what.

NO WONDER why our better Religious Denominations PROHIBIT such excesses as harlot dancing and men prancing!!

I AM OUTRAGED !!

j/k thanks for posting

These are my people, literally. We have been laughed at for decades, but the joke is not on us. Salt of the earth type folks with a true sense of honor and justice. And we have long memories.

I enjoyed watching it. Looks like a variation on Square Dancing. I learned something.
