1960's Appalachian Clog Dance - How far we've fallen

I want everyone to watch this video. It's filmed in the mid-1960's in the Appalachian region of North Carolina. This video is bittersweet, as it reminds me of the South's deep British roots. But it's also sad, because these people, more than any other, most embody the "American spirit", and yet they are the ones despised by our current political and media establishment.
These are the Deplorables. They are the villains in just about every woke movie and TV show. They are the ones who are told to learn to code by some tech nerd in NYC or Silicon Valley. These are the people deemed to be responsible for every social problem this country has. And these hard scrabble mountain people are deemed to be "privileged" by black millionaire race pimps.
When I watch this and compare it to what we see in American pop culture today, I must conclude that the United States is irreparably damaged. There is no hope for white Southerners in shaping or influencing the future of this country. Our culture is being destroyed, our dialect is dying and our children are being taught to hate their ancestors.
What does everyone think?

Having some old toothless redneck play the same 7 notes on a fiddle for 10 minutes while a bunch of uneducated minions bang their feet on the ground is probably as close to hell as humans can get.

What youre describing isnt unique to the United States, white nations are being targeted for destruction globally.

If I had to guess, this guy wears a Talib Kweli shirt and skinny jeans while chanting BLM because he's guilty over the fact that he's actually terrified of the black folk he claims to love. Most self-loathing whites fit that description.

One of the funnest nights out I’ve ever had with my wife was in Sapphire NC when she started clogging with an old mountain band. It ended in the ER after a wine glass incident then back out in Highlands and ended sleeping in the bed of our truck in a dentist’s office parking lot.
Maybe not quite as wholesome as 64.

I'm not hating. Honest. I do appreciate the talent and all that, but what the hell did I just watch?
No one looked like they were enjoying that. It looked more like a hostage video than anything.
Had the venue been more open, like a stage or a gym, fine. But someone's parlor on a Sunday afternoon?

You can see the wholesome joy even in Colonel Sanders nodding off in the chair. These people got by with much less, but I promise you led happier, more fulfilling, community based lives.
