I don't have words.

A few things:

This is obviously horrific. Nobody "supports" such an atrocity.

Crime in NYC is still near historic lows.

Any hand-wringing about the supposed "good ol' days" when "this didn't happen" are not in touch with reality.

Maybe people are talking about the good ole days when people were actually held accountable and punished for crimes committed.

They enable it with policies and they sweep it under the rug by not covering it. And they manufacture propaganda by over-covering/sensationalizing incidents where the races are reversed.

Call that what you will.

God help all these thugs had this happened in the 60's / 7O's in Brooklyn.

Being caught by the police would be the least of their worries.

Good news is, once they're caught they'll be set free without bail. Go NY! Losers!

Sure, if you change the definition on what is a 'crime'.
DeBlasio is king of covering up what is truth & reality...

That's what happens when you stop arresting people because you know their going to be let right back on the streets to offend again and again and again.

When criminal activity is redifined by local politicians to pretty much exclude all but the most heinous crimes, then yes...
crime rates will be low.

It would be tantamount to moving the speed limit to 100mph on the interstate, then stating that incidents of excessive speeding have gone down as evidenced by fewer citations.

Crime still occurs with regularity in NYC and to state otherwise based on maniplulated data is comical.

Again, not in touch with reality.

Nah. Crime is way down - particularly violent crime.

The most heinous crimes are down the most.

So, you pine for some theoretical period of vigilante justice when the actual crime rate in NYC was scarily high? Weird.
