If this said the opposite and were published in the Lancet you all would dismiss it out of hand.
The lancet was caught publishing false data to push a narrative. Dr. McCullough hasn't. It's not an apt comparison in this instance.

This is not a publication, it is a preprint. If it were a publication it would be blatant malpractice to predict deaths during a pandemic and not control for the disease resulting from said pandemic.

and the failure to control for actual Covid-19 deaths in the regression.
With 98% of the county vaccinated, how could there have been Covid-19 deaths?

I understand what you are getting at, but that vaccination rate claim of 98% was by 2023, yet the study covers 2020–2023.

From the study

quote:
Our analysis revealed a 25.7% increase in total cardiopulmonary arrests and a 25.4% increase in cardiopulmonary arrest mortality from 2020 to 2023 in King County, WA. Excess cardiopulmonary arrest deaths were estimated to have increased by 1,236% from 2020 to 2023, rising from 11 excess deaths (95% CI: -12, 34) in 2020 to 147 excess deaths (95% CI: 123, 170) in 2023

Correct, but their prediction does not control for the confounding fact that any of this was related to anything but vaccination. And this excerpt says nothing about the point related to 98% vaccination in 2023.

I didn't read anything (
) but why are they including 2020 at all? There was essentially no vaccine in 2020 so why would that be the starting year of this study?
You could potentially use 2020 to set a base, but why that year and not 2015 for instance, where there's no COVID and no vaccine, etc?

I'll never get another shot because there's nothing to vax against. It's all horse shite.

This dude getting sued haha
quote:
The largest nonprofit health system in Texas has secured a temporary restraining order against cardiologist Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH, a COVID-19 vaccine skeptic who allegedly continued to claim an affiliation with Baylor Scott & White Health months after he entered into a confidential separation agreement in which he agreed to stop mentioning his prior leadership and academic appointments.
Baylor was the first institution to cut ties with McCullough, who has promoted the use of therapies seen as unproven for the treatment of COVID-19 and has questioned the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines. Since the Baylor suit, the Texas A&M College of Medicine, and the Texas Christian University (TCU) and University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) School of Medicine have both removed McCullough from their faculties.
Granted by the 191st District Court in Dallas County, Texas, the Baylor restraining order — which is in effect at least until a hearing on the case on September 30 — was sought as part of Baylor Scott & White's breach of contract suit against McCullough, who had previously been known as a well-respected expert in cardiorenal issues. The suit is seeking $1 million in damages, as well as attorneys' fees.
The suit seeks to "enforce the terms" of the confidential employment separation agreement signed by McCullough in February and prevent McCullough from continuing "improper use of titles and claimed affiliations that have already confused the media, the medical community and the public," it reads.

How in the world can you get 98% of a population to do something? That is an unreal percentage. To me that is an incredible part of the story.
Liberals are true sheep.
This is basically a devout religion. It checked all of the boxes:
* makes you feel like you are doing something for the greater good
* makes you feel intellectually superior
* opposed by people you hate
* loss of social status if you don't do it
* pushed by "experts"
There was zero chance a liberal population could evade the brainwashing.

The headline does not match the text.
Headline: 1236% increase in deaths
Text: Excess cardiopulmonary arrest deaths were estimated to have increased by 1,236%
Now that we got that out of the way, clickbait like this does nothing to further the cause.
As for deaths, I know about 10 people first hand and maybe 25 second hand who died "with Covid" from 2020-2021. Zero who died "with Covid" since 2021. And zero who died "due to cardiopulmonary issues related to the vax"
Other than trolling or just using it as a meme I don't see the motivation behind the vax is killing everyone content.
Most reasonable people will agree the vax did frick all towards saving lives, slowing the spread, providing immunity from Covid, etc. Combine that with the mandates, government funding, massive profits, and lobbying/kickbacks by Pfizer and you have all the ammo you need to do whatever it is you are trying to do.
Did some people die because they took the vax? Probably. But it isn't some widespread pandemic that you are going to convince people is wiping out millions of young people.
Plus, it is the same pathetic tactic they used in 2020-2021 calling every death a Covid death.
Are we better than the child frickers or not?
