Scott Stapp is in bad shape

The singer says his wife -- who has filed for divorce -- is trying to get him committed, falsely accusing him of doing meth and showing signs of paranoia. Her divorce docs reportedly contain text messages from Stapp which say, among other things, "Florida is not safe. Biological weapons on the way."
Stapp sent another text which read, "I wouldn't doubt it if the CIA is behind Alcoholics Anonymous." And he warns, "God created you and now God is ending you."

I still like that song, but he's been crazy as a shithouse rat from day 1.
Whether that led to drug use or was caused by it is a separate question - a lot of times the schizophrenics and psychotics will self-medicate with street drugs.

He doesn't look that bad off. Anyway, my wife is cooking a ton of food for a party we're throwing, so if you're in Orlando, Scott, stop by and get some grub. No meth, dope or alcohol though--unless you've got some percocet or Norco or something (can I hit you up for a couple?).

I agree - can't tell his complexion or his teeth from the grainy video, but no crazy long beard - no crazy eyes. Now, he is crazy and some of his texts/tweets, whatnot, are fricking insane, but I couldn't tell that from the video.
He's had significant sobriety issues for years.
