Just witnessed a motorcycle cop get run over by an SUV: Has made national news

Just happened on Nicholson heading North toward downtown, pretty terrible thing to witness.
Motorcycle cop was traveling North in the empty southbound lane when an SUV decided they were going to make a uturn from the northbound lane and hit the motorcycle then drive over the cop with both sets of wheels

I've been waiting on that to happen for years. You have the main lane stove piped and people looking for any way to move and the bike cops hauling arse on the other side of the median. Surprised it hasn't happened before. Hope the officer makes it. Terrible thing.
