Feminism Fail - Creepiest Thing Someone’s Said To You While Cosplaying?

i was reading a very liberal piece from cracked trying to get people to change human nature in order to make the world better for females, and shading the argument as some sort of progressive-feminism slant. within that article was this Buzfeed article about the "creepiest" thing somebody has said to "you" (females) while cosplaying.
cosplaying, for those who haven't been paying attention, is when people dress up as characters, usually cartoon and/or video game characters. female cartoon and/or video game characters, if you are ignoring your subconscious memory, are often scantily-clad and over-emphasize physical-sexual aspects (now if you want to address THAT feminism and objectification of women? i'll agree a good bit, but it's not addressed and only the reaction of a very slanted male group is discussed)
here are some of the horrible examples of male domination there poor women had to endure
most of these are not anything noteworthy (i mean are you married is the creepiest thing somebody has ever told you while you were fricking COSPLAYING? that's the opposite of a "rough road" for such an set of endeavors).
now i'm not saying every example is OK, because there are some bad examples in the article, but, again, these are women dressing up in sexy clothing in a manner to over emphasize sexual traits. however, on top of that, let's go to the second level: you're doing this AROUND GUYS WHO ARE ALSO WEIRD ENOUGH TO DRESS UP AS SUPER HEROES, VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS, AND CARTOON CHARACTERS. you're not exactly hanging around well-adjusted people who understand normal social norms. many, i'd wager, are sexually-repressed nerds (hence why they would lower themselves to doing cosplay in an attempt to divert their expectations from normal to try to get attention via alternative means).
so you have some cute (or big-breasted) girls wearing scantily-clad costumes hanging around a bunch of maladjusted nerds who by default are escaping normal, proper behavior and who i'd imagine don't have a lot of experience with girls. PLUS, the guys are already acting crazy trying to get attention, while feeling a subconscious connection to these girls for engaging in the same insanity, SO OF COURSE they're going to get "2nd grade" attention by "pulling their hair" (because for the attention-starved, any attention, even negative, is great)
the argument is summed up in the cracked article
yeah these costumes, which were chosen independent of any male choice, cannot reasonably be construed as related to sex
it's shocking how any male could assume that the clothing CHOICES of these women could lead to a sexual response (even if 100% mental). i feel sorry that these women live in a world where they are so sheltered they have no clue that these choices could lead to a sexual response by males

Maybe it's because telling them to cover up reinforces the tiresome message that women in particular are responsible for how others act toward them. Maybe it's because it assigns women the responsibility for dealing with the fact that assholes have decided that the female body = sex,

I finally learned a thing here.
Cosplaying, what will these crazy kids say next?

It's like chicks wearing tight short shorts with words printed on the arse - why wear that if you don't want the attention?
And yeah, most pro cosplay is pretty much to show off their tits and arse - gtfo with this whining about nerds drooling about it. If you don't want sexual attention, then don't wear stuff that highlights what guys are going to look at. This is like Jessica Nigiri purposefully altering a male video game characters costume such as this one, altering it to show off her fake rack, then whining about the sexual attention she gets:
Duh.

I hate women.
I saw a story about a movement to stop the phrase "like a girl."

Some of those outfits are creepier than the quotes they are holding.

i don't know how old this is, but a new (to me) meme of feminists goes like this: you are wrong for having a sexual response to a woman's CHOICE in how SHE wants to present herself
quote:
Maybe it's because it assigns women the responsibility for dealing with the fact that assholes have decided that the female body = sex, and instead of addressing the actual problem
"the actual problem" = the male response

And let's face it. If they didn't get those responses or reactions, they'd be disappointed.

why do they deny science?

I work with dudes who are totally into comic con/Star Wars/Star Trek stuff and always shake my head at the broads that get involved in these things. I don't think anyone will disagree with your points here. You should just make the thread a hot comic con/LARP/Hunger Games/Game of Thrones/Harry Potter/trekkie thread.

I'm outraged that you're outraged that they're outraged.

Most of those didn't seem any creepier than what might be said to a girl out at a bar or some party. I'm not saying they're not creepy, but I was expecting something more outlandish.

i'm not outraged. i'm mocking
i understand why the cracked article basically summarizes the crusade of pussies to weed aggression out of our species
if the creepiest thing a person has ever told you while you're dressed up as a comic book character is "are you married?", then not only are you lucky, you're a fricking super pussy
