Always hear great things from the TV advertisements about Intel Next Generation i7 CPUs, how would I upgrade my iPad with one?

Please explain SoCs vs CPUs...

What do you want to upgrade? Your iPad?
The computer you're using doesn't matter. As long as the iPad itself has Internet access and can download the programs or whatever it needs to upgrade, that's all you need.
The iPad does every thing for you. It just needs Internet access.
Crap, you can go to McDonald's and use their free wifi and do it there.
Go under settings>software update>if your iPad needs an upgrade and/or that particular iPad is compatible with whatever OS you're looking for, you'll see a prompt to download it.

To correct you he didn't discover it we have been there all along, and yeah the knowledge on the gaming board about computers tech is MUCH higher than what is on here, sorry if the truth hurts. When it comes to hardware the expert geeks have been on the gaming board for a long time.

Keeping up with the latest in hardware is not at all technical. It barely qualifies as actual knowledge. Sorry.

I agree with most of what you say here, but I think Cs is one of the most knowledgeable guys on here

Man, wish we were smart enough to hang out there. If I double post, it's an accident, I'm downloading more RAM and we all know how that lags out cloud latency thingy card.

Do you really know how much hardware advancements come out all the time and the tweeks they can use to improve performance, I mean from each company?

Yes, I have a pretty good idea, and if necessary I could get totally caught up with all of this "knowledge" in an hour or two, as could anyone here. But I don't fool myself into thinking I have bettered myself by doing so.

True, but understanding what it means for the industry beyond a few benchmarks and Tom's Hardware reviews, how to fully apply its uses, appreciate the actual components that comprise the shiny new piece of hardware, etc. is pretty technical. There are a few of us over there. I'm not a computer engineer, but I'd like to think I'm not just full of shite.
But I think I'll stay out of this particular thread now.

How long have you been in the industry, 1-2 years?

I'm not "in the industry", but I've spent the majority of my free time with computers for the past 18 years.
Get off my lawn.
