My FIL has a dog that they'd like to find a better home for. Full breed, i'm pretty sure its a jack russell, if not it looks exactly like one. I can double check it. Dog looks exactly like this pic. Not same dog. Dog is kennel trained and all, great temperment dog, they'd like to find a home where the dog has more freedom and owner with time to spend more time with her. Dog i think is about 4 years or so old.

Any interest, let me know.

WHat is the size of this dog? What type of termpermant? This looks like a perfect dog for my 3 yr old daughter.

i'd say no more than about 20 lbs just guessing. Its about the size of the dog in the pic, i can get some real pics if you are truly interested. Temperament is great, she's really calmed down too since she was in puppy stages, still has great energy though.

I don't think a JRT is a good dog for a 3 year old.

Not shitting in your thread. trying to tell ThatsafactJack, that a JRT doesn't really work with a 3 year old.

The first time his daughter tried to take a ball away from it and it shows her real quick THAT IT'S HIS DAMN BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will then understand.

Jack Russells are not for everyone. I've had two, and both were a handful. Got the first for my kids, who were around 5 at the time, and they wouldn't go outside because the dog would jump like he was on a pogo stick, and he'd jump right at face level. Not the best dog for a 3 yr. old. That being said, for the right owner they are the most energetic, fun breed of dog I've ever seen. Their energy is nonstop, and they are like big dogs in small bodies. I couldn't housebreak mine, but if I weren't traveling so much right now I'd love a housebroken Jack Russell.

Just telling it like it is. They can be excellent dogs for the right owner, but do you really want to just dump the dog off to someone who isn't the right fit for the dog? They are a breed that requires a specific type of owner.

she's really become toned down. She's been kennel trained and stays inside nearly all the time. She's become a good doggy

A good friend has one of these dogs. He's a hyper little fricker but an excellent dog. He think hes part kangaroo tho as he gets to jumping on everything. He likes to jump into his boat and jumps onto his shed, then from there he can jump on the roof. Its always a strange site to drive by his house and see a dog on the roof chillin with a tennis ball in his mouth.

That dog needs to go where it can kill things. That is what they are made for. She would probably make a good squirrel dog for someone.

man, you need a big yard with a big fence and about 28hours a day to play with a JRT.

Thanks for all the honest replies. My daughter was a 2 month premie so she is smaller then most 3 year olds.

Sorry Chad504boy but I'm out.

Thanks.
