A new study estimates that the project would be half the cost of an earlier estimate from 2010.

It's also half the speed.

Why is there always some dickhead that demands slow speeds? People like this piss me off.

Nonstop 200 mph bullet train is what we need. 20 min trip.

New plan maxes out at 79 mph with multiple stops. It's a speeding bullet like the current Chris Reeves is a speeding bullet.

3 hours is a conservative estimate

A trip would take 95 minutes, with seven stops on the route.

The lack of population density and shitty public transportation in and around BR makes this a no go. Don't even waste time studying it any longer.

I'd work in br if I could take a 20 min train every day. No doubt.

I'd also go to most lsu games. I'm sure the flip side is true.

Plus it's a building block. You put it in nonstop. Eventually extend to laffy.

Depending on the cost, I'd take the train to BR for ball games and to visit family. My truck burns 1/2 tank of gas on a round trip, which is about $30.
