To be fair, some of those people get so high up on Steam that others just send them free shite for some reason. I have seen it on a few profiles. One chick I saw had like 2K games on her account and another 1000 or so games (a lot of duplicates) in her inventory people would send her.

But he still needs a life no doubt

I didn't realize people did that. I actually think steam could do more with the social aspect because I tend to forget it even exists but obviously their product still gets the job done.

There's a review for skyrim by a guy with nearly 4000 hours played.

That's almost half a year of 24/7 playing skyrim. Insane.

5 hours a day everyday since it was released. He said it was in his library for a couple months before he played so its even more than that. How the hell do you do that!?!?

There was a review on reddit the other day for someone that put about 200 hours into a game and said the game was OK.

That is a shitload of games, but his completion percentage only avgs 39%.

Dude is basically a noob on all games.

Some people don't turn off games.

For instance, when I was in XCOM, I would play in bite sized chunks, and just pause the game rather than exiting when real life called.

So that clock would still be ticking when I was in class, work, asleep, etc.

Take "time played" counters on Steam with a grain of salt.

They don't mean someone was actually playing the game.
