I can't believe there are people even questioning it. It is obviously a penalty per the rule book.. No question.

Cause people don't like the rule. It was called right, no doubt. Brooks made a hell of a play, but he has to be more careful where's he's hitting. Drew wasn't ready for that hit. It's on Brooks.

It especially cracks me up bc much less Is called in the NFL every week. I mean Brooks really could have caused some serious unnecessary damage on that hit.

I keep watching this gif and I just don't understand how people say he was hit in the chest. Brooks's upper arm clearly hits the side of Drew's neck. Ouch.

in super slow motion you can see that his arm does hit the chest but the follow through goes around the neck and under the chin
In real time I thought Drew was killed on the field.
That is what people do not seem to understand is that is call that has to be made at the time it happens not reviewable. Nobody thought that was a legal hit in real time.

You can see brooks hand hitting the top of the shoulder pads.
Anything above the shoulder pads is gonna get called. Just the way it is. Some calls your offense is gonna get, some are gonna go to the other teams offense. Get used to it, its the new NFL.

Wait.. Y'all know the rule is head or NECK AREA right??? This was an easy call by the rules. No question about it. Now run along and argue about soft rules if you like but this was 100% correct by the book.
