If they sealed the island and other territories (Samoa, etc) recruiting wise? Seems more and more legit talent. The Duck QB, Manti, Utah DT, countless others. If say 75% of team and basically all good players stayed home, how far could they go? Could you have a new Miami of the 80s in terms of just capitalizing on local talent?

Does this thread serve to improve the quality of the MSB?

WHat about Manti T'eo? By the way, the American Samao produces more NFL players per capita than any other place in America.

Yeah, him to. I'm not writing out all the names but so many players. KSU's two D tackles are Hawaiian also.

90% are lineman though. Not many offensive skill players or secondary players coming from any islands(Troy P excluded).

GTFO.

FYI I saw this years Hawaii team play in person @ Colorado State University. This years Hawaii team may be the worst NCAA football team I've ever seen.

Yeah, but they don't have T'eo, Oregons QB or the ton of other talent that left the islands. Go Rams

i wish they were good... i'd love having a game to watch in the wee hours with that crazy mascot, an offense just lighting fools up, and a sellout crowd of islanders just wanting more more more...

A lot of kids from Hawaii want to get off the island. Oregon's Heimuli and Buckner (both linemen) are Hawaiian as well. Keliikipi was verbally committed there but decided to go to Oregon.

maybe not a Miami from the 80s but I bet they could become at least as good as Boise State.

If I have learned anything from Dog the Bounty Hunter it is that Hawaii sucks unless you like ICE.
