Did Aaron Rodgers just say that he used a kicking ball on 2-pt conversion??

Holy shite. The refs didn't replace the kicking ball with the regular ball. That makes me chuckle.

Game balls are usually roughed up a lot to make them easier to grip

I believe there are a specific number of balls set aside for kicks. These balls aren't broken in like the ones used for all other plays. So I guess it would make somewhat of a difference in the feel to a QB.

Perhaps. But he through a frozen rope on that attempt. I would think the ball would have gotten away from him if it was too slicked up. But what do I know.

I couldn't watch the game, but I'm assuming he didn't touch the ball till it was snapped.
