Going for about a week with my family near the end of June. What are some good restaurants around the Charleston area that can handle larger groups. Need at least one pretty fancy place since My birthday will occur while we are there and I am going to make my parents foot the bill for the celebration.

I thought he came off kind of douchy in that NR episode in the beginning, but the whole thing was kind of douchy. It was like the Davos of the food world. Has nothing to do with OP, just been looking for a thread to write that in. Hijack ended.

Sweet.
I am leaving for Charleston (Kiawah Island) tomorrow with my family. We are eating at Husk on Wednesday night, which I booked about a month ago.
I'm also planning to go to Hominy Grill for breakfast that day.

Coast's has DELICIOUS ceviche. Overall one of my favorite places.
Hank's for shrimp and grits. Excellent.
39 Rue De Jean or Poe's over on IOP for a damn good burger.

I'm headed there next week for a conference...any good casual, seafood joints on the water? Don't mind a cab ride...will be staying downtown Charleston.

You want a view of the sea at the point of Charleston right? I can't think of anything except maybe a Bed and Breakfast.
Carolina's is pretty close and maybe Fleet Landing

Go to husks.
