If Brady wins another SB does that put him ahead of Montana as the GOAT (QB)?

What are you talking about? Eli Manning is the only QB in the superbowl this year obviously.

ETA and the answer is yes but im sure a certain alter/irrational Brady Hater will have a Problem with that

Montana isn't the greatest QB and Brady has already passed him

That's very possible but not widely accepted. Brady winning another one would probably cement the debate.

Brady became the GOAT when Evans dropped the TD pass and Cundiff missed the FG kick. Missed kick by the opposing team = GOAT status

4 weeks? That game just happened. And it's not even necessarily a joke; it's meant to mock the painfully idiotic mongoloids on here who attribute team accomplishments to individuals

You could put Tom Brady on about 10 different teams in the NFL and they would all instantly be Super Bowl contenders...you are the idiot.

Youve been saying GOAT for 4 weeks for every bad play or lucky break they get (which every superbowl team gets)

While i understand winning is a team effort, you are miminalizing as if he had nothing to do with the wins

Hes put up the numbers and hes put up the wins. He deserves all the praise he gets

Winning is everything. The QB is the field general of a football team. The more successful the team is because of the QB, the more the QB should be credited as being superior when compared to other QBs that have achieved less with their teams.

It's not that silly.

I know exactly what you are saying. My point is that a great QB will win even if the rest of the team is just ok, which is why it can be considered an individual accomplishment. Its not that hard to figure out for most people but you are kind of slow I guess.

to idiots maybe. Hypothetically, would you view Brady and his legacy differently had Evans completed that catch? What about Brees had Tracy Porter not intercepted Manning, or had the Saints not recovered the onside kick?

So why isn't the same true about Matt Light or for that matter some career backup on the Steelers in the 70s

If Brady or Brees were not on the team, those opportunities/events that you mentioned would not have even existed.

Again you guys are acting like Brady wasnt a big part of those Superbowls and hasnt done anything of indivisual merit

He has a ton of indivisual records along with his SBs. Hes not missing anything from his resume as a great QB
