not find a kicker that can kick the football into the end zone. We haven't done this in at least 5-6 years.

Seriously man. Forget everything else. We aren't a real team if we can't kick it in the end zone

I guess that might have something to do with it. Does other top 10 teams waste a scholly on a kicker?

We got athletic enough players on special teams we don't have to worry about it

Our mean arse cover team would beat the kickers arse if they were denied the chance to crush the return man. Isn't that obvious ?

I guess we are redshirting this guy. Kicking from the 40, but still can kick it out of the endzone, which would be about where you want it from the 30.

Many teams, LSU included, prefer to kick the ball inside the 5 yard line with air under it in order to allow our speed to get down field to stop the opponent inside the 20. We used to be quite good at that. Last night's attempts were pretty weak IMHO.

But you would pin them deep inside the 20-yard line if you kick into the end zone and with speedy players like LSU has.

no, then they'd start at the 20 because most teams are smart enough not to come out the endzone against a fast team like us

Last night had to be one of the better kicking/special teams nights ever. The only thing missing was a fake punt or fake fg. Seriously, you're gonna complain about our kicking game??

Not only talking about last night. I'm talking about a span of 60-70 games.
