I'd make my way into Chinatown and find a Dim Sum restaurant where no English is spoken.

Just came back... Incanto, Slanted Door, and R&G Lounge. All great. The lamb at Incanto was amazing.

A great 'brunch' spot is a bar called The Bitter End. They serve an item:

quote:

Bitter End Mixed Grill - grilled pork chop, irish bacon and sausage, 2 eggs any style, grilled tomato and baked beans. choice of french fries or hash browns, toast

Big arse plate of food.

Bar is on Clement just north of Geary between 5th and 6th. Yea, it's a full-on bar.

Tadich's Grill on California St., moderate prices, great food, I think it is the oldest restaurant in the city.
