Nice post and thanks for the link.
Good story, and good for him, but lets give it up for the real hero of the story:
GREAT JOB MS. HILLIARD!!!

Faced with the possibilities of her son leaving the school system all together, Brenda Hilliard took action and asked the administration in the St. Mary's Parish school system for help.

Others have commented favorably on the UM visitors during the coaching discussion that related to CLM. There have been many good ones, and the humble ninja has stood out. Thanks for making this board even better, and for creating a good football conversation between SEC and Big Ten fans.

Good job Kenny. Good job to your Mom for doing what was necessary for you to succeed. I look forward to watching you in Tiger Stadium and wish you continued success in school.
I realize he probably wont be reading this but the article inspired me to write it anyway.

Seems like a good guy. His uncle is my all-time favorite.
Did he play any LB in high school? Just wondering if so, and how he performed.

He is and will be a running back for LSU.

That would be pretty damn cool.

I've met Kenny many times, shy and very humble. Ready to learn. A coaches dream, pays close attention to instruction and will do what ever is asked of him. He'll do well.

Kid gets his weight down and speed up he is gonna be nasty on top of sick...
And now with reading this story I think he will be nasty on top of sick with a large side of heart and a backpack full of Dickens... and maybe some Gatorade gum, just to keep him from getting parched.
