Does anyone have any of B.C. Rogers’ work? I’m thinking about getting some nice leather gear like travel bags, duck lanyards and probably a couple scabbards/gun sleeves.
I am just wondering about the quality of work and if it will last. I would like to pass it down to my son and/or grandchildren in the future, and I am curious if it will last for decades or longer if it is taken care of. If there is another company that someone recommends, please recommend it.

P.S. my son is 7 months old and he would grow up hunting and using these objects.

I was wondering about experience. It would be a guess at best on how it would last after a year or more of actual use. I have heard of the company a few times over the past couple years, and I haven’t heard of anything bad. He hunts about 10 miles from me, but I don’t know him.

Most well-made leather goods will last for a very long time if cared for properly. They must be cleaned, allowed to dry and then conditioned. I have some 70 year old items that are still perfectly usable.

I got one piece for Christmas. It’s a little pouch. Seems to be well made.

Can’t speak on how they will hold up long term but it’s a local small business so I’d imagine if you had any issues they’d be happy to work with you to resolve them.

Kind of thought the same. There wasn’t anything that I could see me buying for hunting. Birdstrap was a good suggestion and the Tom Beekbe Tensaw Jacket was nice.

I've looked at some of their stuff, because I like to buy local stuff, but after laughing at the $850 blind bag, I'll stick with my Filson stuff.

I have the large luggage bag and a wallet. I hunt with a couple of guys with a few seasons of rough use on their Diddy bags. BC is pretty cool dude and the stuff does stand up to heavy use and patinas well.

I have a few of his items including the smaller shell bag. I have hunted with it hard for 3 years. Held up perfectly and looks better now than when new. None of my products have had any problems or had to be returned. I have a TB Tensaw jacket as well. Top notch gear. Wren and Ivy is high quality gear and you won’t be disappointed. BC is a very nice guy as well.

Not brand related but I have a leather duck lanyard that just crapped out. Lasted about 4 seasons. I did. It take care of it, so that might have to do with it. Lol

have the Wren and Ivy ditty bag and the next size up can't remember the name of it. Its topnotch quality. with that being said. I reached out to them about donations to our Delta chapter about 5 years ago. They didn't make the process friendly and really seemed as though they didn't want to. As soon found out why as we did reach an agreement, I bought a couple items to raffle/auction, and they were to donate item of choice. They never sent/donated a thing, Box only had the items I ordered no donation, no swag, no decals to hand out. They never returned my calls or emails after about 2 weeks I gave up on them. Haven't purchased anything else or promoted them anywhere.
