The worst part about changing your brakes is jacking your truck up and taking the tires off. The actual changing of the pads and rotors is usually really easy and only held on by 2 or so bolts.

I changed out the shocks/struts on my gf's Benz yesterday. Huge PITA. I'd rather do brakes 100 out of 100 times

I changed pads on my truck with no problem. Did not bleed fluid. Used a large 'C' clamp to compress the cylinders. Simple job.
