I won one of these with a raffle at a skeet shoot last weekend. I looked it up and didnt realize they were priced that high. I was looking to buy the Xtrema 2. Does anyone know of a place were I could maybe trade this gun in and apply a credit to an Xtrema 2. It is still in the case.

Do some stores do this???

Just sell it in the paper or online. You may be able to go to a gun shop and make a trade since it's in the box, but no bigs place like cabelas, bass pro, etc. are going to do it

The most expensive Super X3 has a lower dealer cost than the cheapest Xtrema 2, so I think you'd still owe quite a bit after the trade.

Which SX3 is it? and which Xtrema 2 do you want?

It's the composite SX3 and the website says that it is like $1150 and the Xtrema 2 I want is 1400. It would be nice to go and trade it in somewhere for like $800-1K and get the Xtrema 2 pretty cheap considering I got the SX3 for free

I am looking at the beretta's b/c I've had the Urika for over 12 years and it's been very reliable

If it's truly brand new you might get $900 towards another gun, unless of course the guy in the shop doesn't want an SX3. I've heard nothing but good things about them, personally.

fwiw, I chose this gun over the beretta. Not because it was a couple hundred cheaper, just because I really like the way it handled. I'd compare both guns before trading in.

LA sportsman classifieds online is a great way to sell hunting/fishing stuff.

Most gun stores will take trades; Cabelas, Jim's, and Hebert Guns for sure.

You'll probably get more out of the gun if you sell it independently, but less hassle with the trade.

Yea i'm not sure how much Cabelas, Jims etc. would give you but if it's reasonable I'd just go ahead and get rid of it to them; they may make you a deal on an Xtrema2 at their shop. This will be my Xtrema2's fifth duck season, would not trade it for anything out there, and no definitely not for the new Xplor.
