Will feral hogs cross a river?

I know stupid question....and the answer is prob yes
But I was coming home late fri nite from the baseball game, and spotted 6or7 of 'em crossing the hwy...about a mile down the road I cross the tchefuncte river and my land starts.
It's my first time to see them around and havnt seen them on my land and hope they stay on 'that side of the river'
