We have been having 3 wild parakeets (I think they are Nanday Parakeets) show up on our feeder here over the past few months. They show up a few times per day, eat 5 mins or so and move on. Seems like the same 3 each time.

Today, they brought friends. Looked like 30 of them or more. Very vocal birds too. They make their presense known on the way in and while they are here.

Great colors on them.

Can hardly wait for an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. I suspect you live too far north for a Burmese Python and Iguana.

No, but I have been having trouble IDing this one. At first I thought it was a parasol which are a choice edible, but my mushroom ID group told me that they believe that it is Amanita westii, which I really can't find any info on its edibility. I did pick it, but being so unsure, I threw it out.

We see a Iguana every once in a while. No pythons yet

Neighboor saw this rattlesanke beside her pool cage. Two doors down. About a month ago. I go out pull weeds and trim my flowers a bunch. I am looking hard now for these bastards. They blend in good with our mulch looks like

We have also had two other people who posted pictures of smaller ones in our neighboorhood.

Unfortunately, I think she is a older woman and was home alone. Didnt kill it.

She was inside the cage and took the picture through the net. I would have chopped his arse up.

I honestly didnt think there would be any of those here. Just never thought about them here. I do a lot of walking/joging these days. We have trails all through the woods and I am watching for them
