I’m old. When it comes to shooting I say yards.
When talking about the size of something, like a house or yard I say square feet.

This is the most bizarre post I've seen on this forum -- Hutton calling someone "Dummy."

Can someone help him find a forum where his "expertise" will receive the unquestioned approval and adulation he so desperately seeks ?

Tell us more about English class. Like, maybe, like uhhhh you are talking about like something that has never happened.

Which does make it consistent with every post you make on this forum.

I've never in my 50+ years had some convert yards to feet when describing a shot they made while hunting or target shooting. I've heard it described in "steps" as a comparison to "yards" but never feet, especially after someone initially described it in yards. Who does this?

No one. The only thing more odd than the post is the reason one would lie to make the post.

I had open sights but they used up all adjustment and still needed more. Had no choice but to red dot it

Maybe we should be more tolerant and understanding.

I don't claim to have any training in mental health matters, but Hutton seems to be about as disoriented as Biden - which is sad. It may be that he really can't stop posting this stuff.

Being a football fan, my mind visualizes yards much easier than feet.

Why do young whipper snappers always convert yards into meters?

Actually you're right - I don't know how many caps I own. If I had to guess, I say probably a couple of dozen.

No, it's a measurement system handed down by God to combat the heathen, communist metric shite.

I fought if for years but about 10 years ago I was building a book case and cutting dadoes for the shelves and realized I was compensating for metric plywood with imperial measurements. I have used metric measurements since woodworking. It is damned difficult to see a 1/64th inch mark on a imperial rule but very easy to see 4/10ths of a millimeter....it is superior when accuracy matters. Whoever came up with units of measure broken down in 16ths was an idiot....

Pretty easy to tell there aren't a lot of engineers in this thread.
