Reel fun let it be. Chicken has made it clear he wants full titles. You can attempt to argue that a title was full but arguing that a partial title is sufficient due to reason x is pointless and ill advised.
Fred. I would humbly submit that not every OB poster is posting a twitter account of their lives. Offshoretrash is the respected trapper of the OB and by far has the most expertise. Trapping is seasonal and his thread last season was well read and commented on.
There really is not much difference in the GtG threads ranking posters, or the recurring poster______ with the weekly DW6PK threads on the OT, or the ____ posters college bet threads on the MSB which are all allowed.

Understood. However, one also has to understand their audience when presenting a topic. OB posters all have a keen knowledge of what it is they are discussing.
A thread topic such as "1911 porn" gives an immediate erection to the gentlemen of the OB, as they all know what is coming when they click the thread.
It's all good. Everyone has been in an uproar and now know what to expect.

I have no problem with this.
The poor thread titles and repeat threads do not allow for any spreading of knowledge or lead to any sort of good discussion.
I was an advocate of the outdoor board and think it is good for the site. I don't think that multiple threads a day talking about gun porn, where I did/didn't find ammunition today, I am jerking off to this gun..., I want one of these...., this could happen.... and on and on are good for the board.
Chicken reluctantly allowed the WFDT on the food board. He may choose to allow a IM thread on the outdoor board. He prefers to leave IM threads on the OT only.

Just a thought. Can we get a few stickied threads such as "Post your gun purchases", or "Post firearm questions here"? Will maybe help cut down on having 4 or 5 threads a day posted on these topics and will allow other threads to stay on front page. Hopefully that will prevent anchoring and whacking of threads

OBers really don't want to talk to the OTers on a regular basis. He needs to allow us one IM thread per night on the OB.

The double standard is the issue. Many of us ended up on the OB to be around and discuss with other like minded persons of similar experience. All outdoor related issues like " grilled venison backstrap and wild turnips from the food plot as a WFDT answer" on the OT are rapidly derailed and degraded into prolonged discussions with those of differing opinions. If we cant discuss what is important to us on the OB away from those who oppose it or careless why foes the OB exist?
