I can fully understand you guys not wanting to go to the OT. Chicken may allow a nightly IM thread if you guys could contain it to one thread.
The thread could contain all that daily stuff that keeps cluttering up the board

Thanks for the explanation. Since we have your ear at the moment, I would also request that you ask Chicken if we can have our daily IM thread at night. It usually starts pretty good with outdoor recipes (deer, rabbit, fish recipes etc) then turns full IM after a page or two. As someone else stated, we have created a bond in the OB that is not exclusive unlike the OT. So a lot of us wouldn't really fit in on the OT IM threads.

I moved this thread here so we can discuss this without the help board minions and otards jumping in.
Too many stickied threads clutter up the board.
No one wants to kill the board. We just don't want an outdoor version of the OT with no substance to any of the threads.

I understand where you are coming from about the ammo, but at the same time, when ammo comes instock at an online store, it is gone in minutes. Without a thread here, people either have to go to other forums and surf there looking for ammo or do without...

The daily IM thread would start off with new gun purchases and ammo availability. Then move into a plans for supper and actual supper eaten. Then our famous drinking thread where most people say Makers and some soda or a shitty beer. And we could all finish the night happy with an true IM thread.
All in one thread. Nice and clean. We are a different culture here (for good and bad) and we need each other. We welcome all but are accepted by few.
