Who says these bastards stop during duck season?

I had another guy in my boat catch a bigger fish than me a while back. Having a second fisherman in your boat should be outlawed!

I know who did that. They killed all those first, put them on top of a blind for later. Went back and killed a bunch more and said frick it and left them.

I love bow fishing, it’s a great time.

I agree though that maybe there should be some restrictions put in place. The fishes are now getting harassed 24 hours a day and many are wounded by people who can’t shoot

I've bowfished a decent amount a few years back. That being said, I'm all for at least regulating the sport.
The boats run over and destroy the marsh, oysters, and grass. The amount of pressure on the fish from boats constantly running them over makes these fish very skiddish.

The Argument that hook and line charter Captains put the same amount of pressure and stress on the fish is just not accurate. These guys aren't running over the fish every night, or destroying the marsh, and at least the fish have the option of biting or not.

Especially if the bowfishing is making more marsh gated off, something needs to happen. I'm all for keeping ALL marsh fishable. I'd imagine I fish on leased land in Golden Meadow 80% of the time. But I respect the property, and the hunters; Unlike Bowfisherman.

This reminds me of a story in college involving a skunk and the neighborhood a-hole nobody liked.
