Where to go on 5ish day bass fishing river float

My buddy and I are both turning 40 next year and looking to use that as an excuse for a longer river float trip.
We are both what I would consider very experienced kayak river fisherman. We have float fished rivers in 6+ states.
Our primary goal would be catching quality river fish (spots, smallies, alabama bass, shoal bass, etc...) and enjoying remote scenery. We would consider both overnight on-river camping options as well as doing a base camp scenario where we fish different sections of a river each day and return to a camp/cabin nightly.
We have no interest in trout.
We are considering a BWCA trip but know next to nothing about that whole ball of wax. We are also interested in a devils river trip but again know thats a more complicated trip. Any insight into those 2 options would be helpful.
Given we are a ways out, time of year can be dictated by fishing and favorable river conditions.
Where would the OB go?

Do it. I have no knowledge or anything helpful to add but that would be a dream trip for this type of thing.
Also, can I come?

I hear about people floating these all the time which leads me to believe theyre pretty crowded (or can be). Are there places to get away from people?

Ahhh it varies. Monday thru Thursday isn't to busy. Most people don't start floating till 10 in the morning on the weekends. Not many people overnight though.

The headwaters of White Oak Creek is near Brookhaven, MS. It is a 90 mile journey down into Bayou Pierre and then the Mississippi River.
It would be totally isolated and you wouldn't see any other paddlers. I could set up places for you to camp along the way (I know most of the landowners at least in Claiborne County). But camping on the sandbars is perfectly legal as long as you don't go up above the normal high bank.
What might be interesting about the journey is that you would start with small creek panfish like red bellies etc and then get into lots of spots and largemouths. And then once you got west of Hwy 61 it would be white bass, catfish, drum, etc. Also lots of oxbows down that way you could pull into.
It wouldn't have the scenery of a north Alabama or Arkansas Ozarks float. But it wouldn't have the traffic either.
The lower half would also be absolutely loaded with alligators. So there's that

The White is mostly trout water and will be filled with jet boats.
The lower buffalo wilderness section from Rush to Buffalo city is remote. Its 24 miles and no where to take out. Probably the best fishing section since it has water year round
The Eleven Point River in Southern Missouri is nice as well. Its trout water until Turner Mill. From there into Arkansas is good smallmouth fishing

If you put in at highway 14 access, once you float past Rushs landing it gets pretty quiet.

Devils or pecos river.
Brazos river is a great below possum kingdom also
For arkansas I throw in the kingsriver for 2 or 3 day trips. Good smallie fishing.
Also check out missouri. Eleven pt river is pure isolation and good bass fishing. Where some springs come in the water is so cold its trout water. Its goes warm cold warmer warmest as you go down it feom where Jack's fork enters. You could do Jack's fork and lower eleven pt

I can't recommend the Devil's river trip enough...did the trip pre-covid in 3.5 days. This is indeed a trip of a lifetime. Tough to get to but totally worth it, though the river levels need to be good and the camping aspect is a total pain in the arse because of Texas landowners.

I thought the pecos was more fun out of the 2. Felt even more wild and untamed.

What portion? I’ve heard good things but never looked into it. The fishing is my biggest thing I’d be interested in.

Certainly one of my favorite places. Heading to Junction to fish the S Llano in a couple months. Have also messed around in the San Saba a couple of times.

Emilio does shuttles out of Comstock

Pandale and us 90 are both public access pts. Do not take the road from pandale to Langley unless you have a long time and a lot of gas. Border agent stopped me out there once and was like what are you doing?

Thanks. Thats the pool most of my big fish have come from.
I am bringing multiple swimbait rods this trip. My goal is a 5lb+.
Ive caught a couple 4+ largemouth and some toad guads (16-17") but i also broke off a giant and missed some big bites last time I was there.
