There are legitimate websites to sell gift cards for around 90% of their value. Or whatever you’ll take for them I guess. Might take a while to unload $2k gift cards tho.

Join hunting fishing groups on fb, offer it there.

I would literally take the process off your hands, if we could work a deal.

Are you hiring?
I think so. I'm working from home during this Corona Plague. You can call 225-766-4422 and talk to Scott. He does the hiring.

One question: can they be used to purchase anything?
Yes - they can be used to buy anything Bass pro or Cabela's sells. (I spoke to the Gonzales store manager about this and confirmed it with the Bass Pro rewards center.)

I wouldn’t have a problem spending the cards at Bass Pro or Cabelas.
Furniture
Clothes
Fishing gear
Hunting gear
Boats
Atvs
Food

I wouldn’t need to shop the Bargain Cave items lol

Just my own opinion, I would NEVER recommend Craigslist.

Go to a semi-exclusive manner.

I now see why you said this
.

(In spite of your recommendation) I listed them on Craigslist - mainly because we've had good luck over the years selling boats, trucks, etc. as we upgrade our "fleet." As a result I almost got scammed this morning. I was really close to falling for it, even though I was already alert to the possibility of scammers on that website.

La sportsman and bayoushooter both have classified sections with a lot of traction. Have sold guns on both within 48 hours of posting

Guy wanted me to call Bass Pro and verify the balance on a card (to prove the card balance was legit). He wanted to listen in (on speaker phone) while I called Bass Pro.

When you dial the B-P number, you are prompted to key in the gift card number and the PIN - then their automated system will tell you the balance on the card. After spending 30 minutes telling this dude I wasn't going to scratch off the PIN number, I considered calling Bass Pro and keying in a card with a much smaller balance ($355), to prove the cards are legit.

Just before keying in the card info, I realized that there might be a device that would let him record the tones being keyed in and later use the tones to spend the balance on the card.

So I hung up, called B-P customer service. They immediately confirmed that this is a common scam - the scammer does indeed record the tones and can use them to buy stuff with your gift card.

Color me stupid.

The only reason I haven't used La. Sportsman for these cards is that I couldn't find a "miscellaneous" category for the listing.
