What's your hypothetical, had there not been a boating accident, firearm count up to?

up to 13 now all in all.
13 bad number so need to keep number moving.
3 rifles
2 ar 15's
1 shotgun

5 handguns, 4 9mm's 1 .45

I had about 12 until my grandfather died a few years ago. I inherited all of his which just about doubled that number. Didn't really consider that when I was choosing a safe

1 no name .22 that I picked up in an auction in Gonzales, TX. Great rifle and very accurate.
I still want an AR-15 though but would prefer to go the way of Carson and make my own. Just not that experienced yet to do so.

It starts getting a little crazy when you start adding up what you have in guns. Even just a regular old rifle with a decent scope is $1000 bucks. This post was edited on 8/17/18 at 4:14 pm

yeah, handguns are nice cause it doesn't get stupid crazy with accessory bullshite. i like owning for the sake of owning, don't nearly have the time to shoot enough.

What specifically is holding you back? Once you get a general idea of what the rifle will be used for it’s fairly easy to piece together.

yeah, that's why I need to start selling some off soon, my wife and oldest daughter aren't interested enough in them, to get what they are really worth, if something happens to me.
I also have a big guitar collection, but my wife is pretty knowledgeable about those.

I have a spreadsheet file with serial numbers and cost of each firearm along with the cost of any added parts to that firearm with their serial numbers if they have one. It makes it really easy to justify the investment into a good gun safe.
