If not for the floppy ears I would say perhaps an older Carolina dog.

You can have DNA testing done on him similar to 23andme if you really want to know. It'll tell you a percentage of what all he is. My niece did it with their mutt and it seemed spot on as far as what we all were guessing. Wasn't very expensive.

Looks a lot like the lab/golden mix I lost last Thursday. Hell of a dog.

I always figured lab.. but idk where the red fur comes in

Red labs are not common but they do exist. If I saw that dog anywhere I'd assume it was a red lab. I knew a guy who had one once and it was a damn fine duck dog.

I really don’t think there’s any kind of pit in this dog.

If he's a mutt and you live in the southeast you might be very, very surprised.

We've had three mutts DNA tested. None of them look like a pit, all three ranged from 18% to 43%. The lowest percentage has long hair and looks like a collie mix.

In the end, he's a mixture and will make a good pet, I've got 2 laying next to me now. Good dogs.

Looks heavy yellow lab, the white patch on the chest is an acceptable “defect” called a medallion in AKC registered labs. No clue what the rest of it could be.

All dog bites are reported as pit bulls. Gets the clicks and riles up the TD dumbasses.

What this guy says. Go get him DNA tested. It’s not that expensive.

I’d say lab/golden and black mouth curr. The curr of course would be the mutt but that’s what it looks like to me.

Maybe Lab/Golden mix. I had one that looked exactly like him. Best dog I ever had.

I would say yellow lab with some f]german Shepard in him. Get yourself one of those dog DNA kits if you really want to know!

Is he intact? If so, find him a younger woman
