Roger that, but I'm talking about the under carriage/drive train. That's what they told me FWIW.

They can void your shocks, CV joints, axles, front driveshafts, bushing and bearings, ect.
My dealership does not care one bit that I have light mods on my truck. But if something big breaks, they call Ford and they have the final word. I can guess what they will say.
A leveling kit is pretty well recognized as safe though. Not many problems caused by them and usually the dealership will work with you on fixing it. Motor mods (not bolt on mods) is a different story though. That's why I just replaced the muffler instead of the entire system.

i installed the 1" daystar spacer (actual spacer size not lift) on my 07 f150 myself. raised the front up almost 2 inches (geometry and shite)It really wasn't that hard. I think it took me about three hours.

I have the drop shackles on my 2005 GMC that leveled it. Took em off a few months ago to help tow that heavy arse boat.

I bought a 75 dollar Rough country level kit that didn't completely level my 2008 silverado and had it installed for 125

if you're paying 350 to install, the I'll do it...won't take longer than 2 hours

How about a case of beer?

I have heard that from other people too. Just not my experience at all. I have the max tow on mine which leaves my rear end a bit higher to start with. I should have gone with a 2.5" from BDS or AS to start with.
Daylover, I see that you didn't respond to me but I'm the only one who said $350. That price included the spacer, install, and alignment.

I would definitely go 2.5". Why would you add to the rear? Defeats the point of the level right?
I added a leveling kit to my 2010 F250 and still put a one inch block in the back. It leaves a little bit of rake. I think perfectly level trucks look goofy. With any weight at all in the back, they sag in the back.
And as for voiding your warranty... Ford sells F250s with 4" lift kits all day and has for years.

the level kit, you can pick up for about $75, an alignment runs about $50-75, so you paid about $175-200 just for them to install, which is insane IMO.
It probably took them 30-40 min with a lift and impact tools to remove tires and all put spacer on and done.
You can do it yourself if you have a couple jack stands and some basic hand tools, will take a bit longer but still can be done no less.

Looks like all you need besides basic tools is a spring compressor. I've used them a lot on my jeep to take off/put on my coil spring spacers. Seems like the Ford kit is just about the same thing.

Top gun customz. Most kits $60 up. Pretty simple install

Did my 07 F150 in my driveway, pretty straightforward. The lift kit I used was $60. The alignment ended up costing me like $180 though, had to buy new adjustable cam bolts to align it.
Then it turned out 3" was too much to level a 2wd, so I built 1.5" rear lift blocks out of some 1/2" plate steel and got the longer stock u bolts from a friends 4x4 he lifted.

My sincere apologizes, DayloWer. I hope that you accept this emoticon of beer drinking as a sign of peace,
