Good cars can be found for cheap. My cheap arse wife is still driving a 99 escort that i would LOVE to get 2k for if she'd let me.

106K on a Toyota?
That thing is a death trap!
Sell it to a young college student-they are bulletproof.
You have too much to live for.

It's a crewmax. Wish it was a little better on gas but I get 16-17 mpg.

Why, a fella like you, good-looking, and obviously concerned about the environment, I'd rethink my mode of transportation.
Something not wore out and wasting our planet's precious resources...
Give it some thought.

In 2015? That's some Baby Boomer thinking. Modern cars are just getting broken in at 100k.
When I totaled my way-too-nice 1st college car in 2003 my parents bought me a 1989 Suburban for $1800. It had 250k miles on it and (sadly) never died. And we sold it 2 years later for $2000.
OP: Look at 90's Range Rovers. They're not "extremely reliable" but after 140k miles or so, most of the expensive problems have been addressed. And they still look great. Searching craigslist vs. a shady buy-here-pay-here lot might turn out a better crop of vehicles, with owners who actually took care of them.
I would drive this
Or this
Or this - with some negotiation

Older Tacoma or Nissan Hardbody 5spd is the way to go.

About what I paid for the Ranger and that little truck has been a trooper. Base model with a 5-spd manual but gets close to 30mpg on the highway.
