I’m rebuilding my rod collection with the 20% off deal and want to know what’s best for each. These are the most common lures I throw for reds on baitcasters. TIA
1) Inline spinner
2) Gold spoon
3) Topwater she-dog/frog
4) Buggs Redfish Jig (just ordered a couple of these and have never tried them)

I ordered a couple of those all star inshore rods that are on sale for $79. They’ll be here today so I’ll updat ya.

^ this. I’ve had a couple of these over the last year and have been happy with them, especially for their current price.

You could get away with medium heavy fast action for pretty much anything redfish related besides the inline spinner IMO. For the inline spinner I'd go medium with moderate action.

Let us know. I was looking at those vs the Falcon coastal. Could be worth the savings.

What area do you fish? Will you be dealing with a lot of grass? If not, then Medium will work fine. A lot of grass and I would step it up to MH.
1. Inline spinner/Gold Spoon - I throw on a Medium Power/Fast Action 6'10 Rod. It has a spinner bait tip, meaning it is a little softer.
2. Top water- Medium Power/ Moderate/Fast Action. I use a 6'6 for the shorter grip that doesnt interfere with walking the dog action. Mod/fast so that you get enough pop out of each twitch, but wont rip it out of there mouths prematurely.
3. Same rod you would use for jigheads. I use a 6'6" Duce Med. I feel like its easier to manipulate the jighead with the shorter rod.

Inline spinner: Medium Fast
Spoon: Medium Fast
Topwater: Medium Heavy Fast
Buggs: Medium Heavy Fast. I actually like to use a spinning rod for these(and anything small I'll be sight casting with) since they're kinda light, I just find that easier to pitch them out there short distances when sight casting.

In general, as someone else mentioned, MH/F is a great all-purpose redfish rod. I like a slightly slower action for moving baits and a very fast action for top-water. That being said, depending on your burdget, Moderate-Fast and X-Fast action rods can be somewhat difficult to come by so Fast action is a good compromise. I tend to lean softer on the power as well because I like lighter rods, but most people prefer a Medium Heavy rod.
It's also worth noting that not every company rates their rods the same (I'm looking at you Abu Garcia), so a better indicator is line and lure weight. In general a rod rated in the range of 8-15lb is what I consider Medium, and a rod rated 10-20lb or 12-25lb is what I consider Medium Heavy.

Thanks everyone. I already have a moderate medium. Assuming I’m keeping that one, which lure would you pair it with?

Moving bait, so inline spinner or gold spoon.

Topwater
ETA: I use a softer tip rod on moving baits. XF on TW since they usually hit on a pause or when I'm not constantly moving it.

Everything I’ve ever read/heard says fast or very fast for topwater.

I like the delay. If I miss fish on top, it's usually because i am too quick. Plus, treble hooks.
Oh, and I don't like it for his other listings, so it was really an elimination.

I'm with you on that. A true medium/moderate is a popping-cork rod to me. Or a crankbait rod.
And for trout it has many more applications in general. I step back my power and action when trout fishing.
